Brooke’s Story

Brooke Roth was born with a rare connective tissue disorder called Loeys Dietz Syndrome (LDS). This disorder manifests itself in a number of ways, leading to medical challenges and health complications. Brooke tackled her physical struggles and setbacks with grace and inner strength. She was a bright light to those around her and left a positive mark on everyone she met. Brooke’s mission in life was to help people, particularly children. At the University of Miami, she was working towards a degree in education while volunteering for Camp Kesem, an organization that supports children affected by a parent’s cancer. Brooke was known as a loyal, compassionate, loving person and had made deep long lasting friendships while in school. She was able to stay positive even when faced with difficulties and encouraged others to do the same. Her dream was to help children dealing with similar challenges and help strengthen their resolve. Even though Brooke’s journey was cut short, she will still continue to help children through the Brooke’s Voice Foundation. Through Brooke’s Voice, she will forever shine her bright light on children who face medical challenges and impact their lives in a positive way.
